Castle Stairs ~ Top Finished
Well the other day when I was on my roll in getting things done I finished this quilt top, then went to do the back and I was short a few inches in fabric so I now need to put my thinking cap on and decide how I want to finish the back... it's a tough choice
I thought of doing it like a pie with six triangles, might even be able to use the one piece I have here, or a large hexagon in the middle about the size of four or five rows from the front. I'd love to see this one finished so I better decide quick :-)
That's so pretty! I saw this pattern at moda bakeshop a while back and pinned it. Yours looks better than theirs! You did a good job to keep it flat too!
ReplyDeleteGood idea with the 6 pieces of pie on the back. Last time I used my wedge ruler I lined up something wrong and was out by the total of seam allowances hehe.
